Serving food in the Summer

Summer is here and we are having all kinds of gatherings with friends and neighbors.  But we need to be vary careful so that that famous potato salad doesn't make us sick.  People have come up with inventive ways of their own to keep things cold without buying fancy gadgets.  I have come across a few that work really well. One being this little gadget. Chilled Condiment Caddy  This gadget has room below each compartment that you can put ice.  it will keep those pickles and onions or any other condiment that you may like to serve with your BBQ cold.

If you are the one that is the host of the back yard BBQ you might find this gadget very helpful.   Inflatable Serving Bar You will have to provide the ice but this way you do not have to have all those coolers setting around and wonder which cooler contains what food.

One thing that I like very well for the coolers that contain food is either of the 2 products below.  With the mat you will want to place that on top of the food or containers as the top or lid of the cooler is most likely not insulated so what ever is underneath the mat stays cold.  Icy Cools Reusable Ice Mat, 16" x 10"
The other option is the Icy Cools Reusable Ice Cubes Great things to have to throw anywhere in the cooler and you do not have to worry about having water leaking all over the place.  These are awesome for the kids lunch boxes even in the winter.
Enjoy summer keep your food safe and look cool at the same time.
